The Online Rigging Training course is designed for new and experienced workers looking to establish the guidelines and functions of rigging tools and practices. While these classes typically focus around the telecommunication industry, the same rigging principles can be customized towards specific industries.

Students that complete this course will gain an understanding of:

  • Applicable rigging regulations (OSHA, ANSI, & ASME)
  • Establishing an ANSI Lift Plan
  • Rigging hardware specifications and applications
  • Selection and Inspection of proper slings
  • Weight and force calculations for multi-leg bridles
  • Hoisting communication
DESCRIPTION

Does your crew require tool bags, antennas, dishes, structural steel or other objects to be hoisted to complete the job? Limited on time and resources to get your crew trained to recognize safe practices?  Safety One’s Online Rigging Training provide the skills necessary to remain safe and compliant while performing rigging related work.

Safety One’s Online Rigging Course focuses on identifying the correct types of rigging equipment required to safely perform lifting operations. In this interactive online classroom, your crew will be led by industry expert trainers to create a supportive learning experience far more in depth than a simulated module.

Students will analyze systems used to raise and lower loads to/from elevated positions. These systems will be evaluated for safe loading practices and increased forces from vector angles.

Custom or private applications are also available to meet your exact needs.

COURSE DURATION: One Day (8 hours)

CLASS SIZE: Maximum 8 (1 Instructor)
