Snow Cat pre-trip Inspection
Make sure that before those snow cats head to the field they have been thoroughly inspected by a competent person. Critical items include in-motion track checks, drive system tests, electrical safety checks and a full fuel system inspection after summer storage. Mechanical issues can leave crews stranded in remote areas, putting them at great risk of environmental hazards including potentially fatal cold weather injuries.
