Investing in Our Future, Our Instructors

Safety One Training

At Safety One Training, our courses for safety are instrumental in workers preparation for hazards they may face in their day to day duties. Whether it is environmental concerns, safety at height or unique vehicle operations, we assist in most areas of remote site access risks as well as employees working a t height.

Investing In Our Instructors

Our team of trainers has been assembled from a variety of industries and disciplines, comprising a group of some of the most diverse safety professionals in the world. We train 1000’s of students every year, and ask our customers to recognize the importance of safety training for their employees, to ensure they go home every day to their families. We feel not only must we talk the talk, but also walk the walk. We spend the money each year on the training for our instructors to  improve their knowledge and skills. We continue to invest in their education and we will send our instructors around the world to gain expertise from manufacturers, trade shows and other forms of training.

Most recently, our Director of Training Todd Horning and a select group of our instructors completed a 24 hour MSHA 5000-23 Surface mine safety training.  This will allow us to enter many surface mines in order to assist clients in solving their unique fall protection and rescue needs regarding site specific unique issues.  Some of the topics that were covered included machine guarding, air monitoring, heavy equipment, fall protection, rescue and emergency response and many additional safety aspects specific to mine sites.  “This has also opened up our eyes to additional techniques of safety in an industry that we are not particularly familiar with, ” said Todd Horning. “We always look to expand our skill sets whenever possible and this was very beneficial training for our team.”
The training itself was conducted by Harry Lovely, Safety & Mine Emergency Specialist.  Harry has 25 years of experience in the mining industry, in both underground and surface mines in coal, zinc, gold, and limestone operations.
If you have questions about this or any other area of safety at height, fall protection or climber certification including rope access and SPRAT training, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Be Safe!
