Announcing the new Safety One Training website – First blog post!

One of the advantages of being President of Safety One Training International Inc. is that I get to do pretty much what I want to do! That includes being the first to post on our new blog on our brand new website. Despite many months of trials and tribulations with different developers and website design companies and through the diligence of some of our key employees, we are proud to present the new look of Safety One.

Over the following months I believe this blog will provide readers with valuable information on various safety and survival topics from the world class instructors at Safety One Training International, Inc.   Whether it is evaluation of a new piece of climbing or fall protection gear or a tip on the key points to inspect on a specific 20 year old snow cat, you will find it here.  If you have a question please do not hesitate to ask it, that is why we maintain this blog!

In closing this first post I am reminded of when Safety One started 25 years ago.  We had one computer, an IBM 86 with a custom operating program that cost more than the computer.  In 1995 we had our first web site, I remember it well because we had a drawing of a snow cat that would hop up and down and that was really hi tech!  Our new website which we just launched will be our 6th “new” redesigned web site.  We are proud of the extensive content it contains and hope you enjoy it; however the hopping snow cat drawing is gone!

Sincerely,

Art Seely
President / CEO
