• Basic Safety Training & Certification

  This five-day snow cat driver / operator safety course is designed for men and women who operate tracked vehicles in snow or potentially extreme climate conditions, and meets OSHA 98-55 recommendations. Safety Training includes three days of intense classroom instruction along with two days of unforgettable field safety training. We focus on safety & survival techniques, specialized equipment training, and snowcat repair under emergency conditions. With safety in mind, our students are taught how to handle emergency repairs on snow vehicles and tracked all terrain vehicles in the most extreme conditions, so that in a real-life crisis our students are prepared to handle the predicament and return with the vehicle and crew safely. They're not only instructed on how to operate their vehicles under extreme circumstances, but also under normal conditions to help improve efficiency and productivity.

• Refresher Safety Training

  This two-day Refresher Safety Course is designed to rejuvenate the snowcat safety skills learned from the Snow Vehicle / Snow Cat Safety Basic Training & Certification course. One hundred percent of this training is in the field. Here, the student will perform basic snowcat maneuvers, side hill travel, remove and repair track assembly, and construct temporary shelters. To keep in compliance with OSHA safety retraining guidelines, it is recommended that snowcat operators take this safety course every two years. Our Snow Vehicle / Snow Cat Safety Basic Training & Certification course is a prerequisite to this class.

• Advanced Safety Training

  Our two-day Advanced Safety Course is designed to further develop skills learned in our Basic Field Training safety course, as well as meet OSHA safety retraining recommendations. In this exciting class, the students are briefed on "best practices" for operation and field repair of their snow vehicle. Then, for the remainder of this class the students are provided a mission to accomplish. This is a thrilling learning experience that is designed to hone our student's navigation and safe vehicle handling skills. Our Snow Vehicle / Snow Cat Safety Basic Training & Certification course is a prerequisite to this class.
