CNN reported yesterday that a military helicopter crashed just south of Pikes Peak in Colorado while on a training exercise. Thankfully, the two occupants survived with non-life-threatening injuries. It was also fortunate that this occurred close to available help. Had this happened in a more remote region, those non-life-threatening injuries could make for a tough survival situation.
