Colorado Flooding – How to Help

Colorado Flooding

As most of you are aware, Colorado recently suffered a series of extremely devastating rain storms in and around the foothills north of Denver. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those touched by this tragedy.

How to Help

Many of our clients have been calling in recent days to inquire about urgent ATV and UTV training for operators from various companies involved in the flood restoration projects. Our clients have also asked about how they can most effectively help the survivors and rebuilding efforts.  Based upon our experience with various post disaster scenarios throughout the US there are several excellent choices but one of our favorites is the Salvation Army disaster fund.  The Salvation Army is on of the relief organizations I donate both my time (dishwasher extraodinaire at local homeless shelter) and money to.  If you would like to help out here is some contact information below:

The Salvation Army uses 100 percent of your disaster donations in support of local disaster relief operations.

To give, visit imsalvationarmy.org or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY (1-800-725-2769) and designate “Colorado Floods.” You may also text GIVEHOPEIM to 80888 to donate $10 to The Salvation Army.* Donations by mail may be designated “Colorado Floods”and sent to:
